ESPN Deportes will provide exclusive Spanish-language coverage of the 2017 T-Mobile Home Run Derby on Monday, July 10, at 8pm, ET from Marlins Park in Miami, Fla.
Coverage begins with a one-hour pregame edition of Béisbol Esta Noche at 7pm. In addition, ESPN2 will provide a Spanish-language simulcast of ESPN Deportes. Coverage on ESPN2 begins at 7pm with a one-hour edition of Nación ESPN on ESPN2. The game will be streamed live on the ESPN app.
This year’s National League will feature Marlins’ Giancarlo Stanton (reigning champion) and Justin Bour, the Dodgers’ Cody Bellinger and the Rockies’ Charlie Blackmon. The American League will be represented by New York Yankees’ Aaron Judge and Gary Sánchez, the Royals’ Mike Moustakas and the Twins’ Miguel Sanó.
With his signature home run call, Ernesto Jerez returns for his 19th season as play-by-play. He will be joined by former MLB player Eduardo Pérez. Former LA Dodgers pitcher, Ismael Valdez will serve as roving reporter, while Guillermo Celis and Marly Rivera will handle on-field player interviews.
Jerez and Pérez will also provide contributions in English for Baseball Tonight and Nación ESPN on ESPN2 leading into the game.
Carolina Guillén and three-time All Star Ozzie Guillén will host Béisbol Esta Noche leading into the game.
