ESPN Deportes: Third edition of Dream Job: El Reportero ends April 15th

The third edition of Dream Job: El Reportero on ESPN Deportes ends on April 15th. Currently, eight finalists have already been selected and will have as mentors the hosts of the some of the channel’s main shows.Michelle Bella, VP of Sales and Consumer Marketing of ESPN Deportes, spoke with PRODU about this project.“This is very exciting for us because we already have five people who joined ESPN Deportes as a result of the contest. The grand prize winner will travel to Brazil to cover the 2014 World Cup: produce content for broadband, social media; pieces that will live in the channel,” said Bella.The contest winner will be announced on April 15th on the show #Redes.Bella also spoke about the program with some of the main journalism schools in the U.S. to recruit reporters for the channel. “We look for students who want to participate, not just as sports reporters, but at every level, who are knowledgeable in sports and bilingual,” she said.
