ESPN Deportes announces new SportsCenter anchor

ESPN Deportes announced Ricardo Puig as the latest anchor to join SportsCenter, the network’s flagship sports news program. “Ricardo’s vast knowledge and experience in sports will provide valuable insight to the show. His great personality and passion for sports will sure resonate with our sport fans who will continue to be informed and entertained by a great group of anchors. We look forward to Ricardo joining our team of ESPN Deportes, ESPN Dos and ESPN Latin America,” said Rodolfo Martínez, Vice President of Production for ESPN International and ESPN Deportes.Puig was born in Mexico where he began his sports career in 2000 as editor in chief at CNI Canal 40 in Mexico. For the past decade he has worked in both television and print publications covering sports news and games.
