ESPN Deportes adds new digital destination, original programming and expands Miami studios

The 2012 to 2013 ESPN Deportes upfront yielded the launch of an innovative digital destination, new soccer programming, two original news and information studio shows, more original programming and new Miami studios.The network will initiate ESPN Deportes + por ESPN3, a digital medium available on ESPN3 set to launch later this year that will provide live sports in Spanish on a multi-screen network available on computers, smartphones, tablets and Xbox.ESPN Deportes will also increase its number of live matches. It will air more than 60 matches per season, along with news and information programming.New original content includes El bar, Capitales de futbol and Born and raised. The newly expanded ESPN Deportes studio in Miami will enable the production of HD, cross-platform content for the US Hispanic consumer.
