Less than a year after its launch, Maximum TVs model of offering Latin content online already boasts a rich list of providers such as Agencia EFE, E-nnovva (NTN24), MVS (52MX y Exa TV), Dreamhouse Entertainment, Caracol, Venevisión, SUR, VideoRola, Nuevo Mundo TV, and El Garage TV, to name a few. Behind this enterprise are Erik Vanderlaan, Chief Technology Officer of Maximum TV; and Julio Rumbaut, President of Rumbaut & Company and Senior Advisor to Maximum TV. In this initial phase we are focused on attracting lots of users, and later we will add other business variations such as subscriptions and pay-per-view. Our service is currently free to our users and revenues come from advertisers, explains Vanderlaan.Maximum TV will soon sign an agreement with a large 360-sales representation company to increase their visibility with agencies and advertisers. Also, by September, Maximum TV expects to have the technology necessary to enable them to bring their online content to mobile devices.Currently, Maximum TV is seeking to increase their financial backing either through strategic partners that can provide both capital and content, or through an angel investor. A third option are investment funds that have already shown interest in the company, particularly in investing in a second round.
