Endemol Shine Boomdog appoints Eneko Obieta as director of Artificial Intelligence and Production

Obieta will focus on all areas related to artificial intelligence and production in the audiovisual industry
Eneko Obieta has been appointed as the Director of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Production at Endemol Shine Boomdog. Obieta, who had an extensive professional career at Endemol Shine Latino (as it was known then) from 2006 to 2017, recently served as a director and rejoined the company in March this year.

His appointment is a testament to the company’s commitment to investing in Artificial Intelligence and exploring the best ways to use this new technology to stay at the forefront. Its importance in our industry at this time cannot be underestimated, so we wanted to be among the first to create this position, and we could not have chosen a better leader than Eneko,” expressed Alejandro Rincón, CEO of Endemol Shine Boomdog.
Obieta will focus on all areas related to artificial intelligence and production in the audiovisual industry, including research and analysis, strategy development, and project management applicable to productions and corporate settings.
Previously, Obieta served as Director of Production at Secuoya Studios, where he focused on unscripted programming. Earlier in his career, as a director/producer, he was responsible for developing, launching, and overseeing non-fiction projects for various companies, including TV Azteca, TVE, Telemundo, Sony Entertainment Television, MTV, Disney Channel, Comedy Central, E!, Cadena Tres, Uno TV, Telecinco, +Música, 40TV, Canal+, Cuatro, and AXN.
