Emilio Aliaga joins Univision Communications as VP of Digital Content

Emilio Aliaga has joined Univision Communications Inc. as vice president of Digital Content for Univision Networks. In this role, Aliaga will oversee the company’s entertainment content offerings across digital platforms, including on Univision.com, UVideos and its mobile apps. Aliaga brings close to ten years of experience in digital and content management from Televisa where he oversaw digital and new media operations, including content development for {Televisa.com} and {Esmas.com}. During his tenure at Televisa, Televisa.com and Esmas.com became the leading digital entertainment web portals in Latin America. He also recently led the development of the Univision and Televisa co-produced webnovela Te Presento a Valentín. Aliaga will be based in Miami and will report to Alberto Ciurana, president of Programming and Content for Univision Networks.
