Discovery with a strong non-linear offer

Discovery has launched a series of non-linear products under the premise that it is necessary to continue catering to pay-TV operators and super aggregators, but without neglecting broadband operators.

Marcelo Minicz, senior Manager Affiliate Sales at Discovery, said that the company´s non-linear offer includes Discovery Kids plus (for OTT and TVE), Fun English with Doki, Discovery Unique On Demand (SVOD), Pets (from Animal Planet), the à la carte channel DOGTV with which they have grown a great deal.

He mentioned that in Brazil, in January 2019, Anatel reported that in mobile telephony there were 226.7 million devices, most of which are smartphones with broadband. He reported that 31.90% of the market is ISP (10.7 MM users) that grew 146% in 2019. “We work every day to maintain the content available on all the screens” he ended.
