Discovery en Español´s Mexicánicos season 2 averaged 153K viewers among A18-49 on premiere night

Mexicánicos (6x60’) was followed by an average of 266K among Total Viewers during the premiere night

{Mexicánicos;www.produ.com/television/videos/index.html?Noti=10181} (6×60’), Discovery en Español’s original production, which features exclusive creations and restorations by the talented Mexican mechanic Martín Vaca, delivered a stellar performance during its premiere week, averaging 153K viewers among A18-49 on premiere night and 266K among Total Viewers. The show qualified as pay-TV’s #1 10pm telecast among all Spanish language networks and also ranked Discovery en Español as #1 in its timeslot across Persons, Men and Women aged 18-49. Comprised of six episodes of one hour, the second season of Mexicánicos features special guests, including Mexican music star Lupillo Rivera and the Chivas de Guadalajara soccer player Ángel Reyna. Vaca Limousines is one of Mexico’s largest conversion workshops for customized hearses and limousines. The business is comprised of 60 employees who work on 30 vehicles at a time each day, turning out some of the most innovative creations in the automotive world. Launched originally in March of this year, the first season of Mexicánicos was also a success for Discovery en Español, propelling the network to the #1 spot during its time slot among Spanish language pay-TV networks among Persons, Men and Women aged 18 to 49. The show was produced for Discovery en Español by Drako Media, under the direction of Gerardo Brandy, in coproduction with High Noon Entertainment. The production was made under the supervision of Discovery Networks Latin America/U.S. Hispanic’s Michela Giorelli, Rafael Rodríguez and Carlos de la Paz.
