Hudson is very proud of CNN en Español´s journalism
Cynthia Hudson, senior VP and general manager of CNN en Español, spoke from the channel’s studios in Miami and assured that their intention is to continue expanding throughout Latin America. “Eventually, we would love to produce a program in Buenos Aires where we have very good facilities. We would like to expand our production in Mexico, replicate the format Mexico Opina. Our interest is to continue growing in the region with different perspectives”.
Hudson expressed that she is proud of the channel and she thinks it has been a key piece in Latin America and wants to continue to be so. “CNN has been one of the region´s unifying ties. It has given the region a voice. And we want to continue being the voice of Latin Americans for their problems but also for their successes.”
The executive has been in the industry for 33 years, seven in CNN, where she has revolutionized the signal, with changes in programming, audience increase and sales growth. Her beginning was in Univision, where she was a reporter. “CNN has been a huge challenge for me in an extremely complicated world in a turbulent Latin America.”
Hudson is very proud of CNN en Español´s journalism. “It is a privilege and a responsibility in today´s world. And we want to continue proving that our brand is reliability, we want people to know that when it comes from CNN it is true.”
