For Curiosity Stream, Colombia is a priority market due to its the country of LatAm with the highest growth projection in the upcoming years.
“In addition to the economic growth projected for Colombia, the regional operators have some of the largest subscriber bases (DIRECTV, Claro, Movistar and Millicom); also the country has some of the largest traditional media groups of the region such as El Espectador, Casa Editorial El Tiempo, Revista Semana and Caracoltv.com. All of these factors make Colombia a high priority for us because we are adaptable and can work with partners in the way that best suits their business needs,” said Bakory Davis, Head of Global Alliances and Distribution at Curiosity Stream.
Curiosity Channel currently has a presence on Millicom and El Espectador. “We have a lot of room to grow in terms of our overall business and distribution,” he said.
In addition to offering their streaming and linear services, they also license their content. “Our goal is to provide a simple and effective turnkey solution that meets the business needs of our partners,” he said.
