Hosted by Rocío Sánchez Azuara, the show Cosas de la vida, a TV Azteca production, reached its first anniversary and has become one of the most successful public help shows in Mexican television. With over 300 episodes broadcast, the program is considered a new talk show concept. Over a thousand cases have been denounced, 600 of which have been brought in front of a panel, of which 80% have been resolved. Cosas de la vida is present in different regions throughout Mexico and has even crossed borders to provide help to different points in the U.S.For Sánchez Azuara, the only goal is to continue providing good results for the network despite criticism against the show. “Viewers have given me credibility and only they can take it away. I still have not achieved my objective; I’m going for more and I hope to have the viewers’ support. In the end, it’s them who make us,” she said, adding that proof of this is the show’s recent entry to the U.S. through Azteca América, where they touch on stronger issues for the Hispanic audience.Future plans include traveling to the U.S. for a week to record shows.Cosas de la vida airs Monday through Friday at 8pm on Azteca América.
