Fernando Palomo, soccer commentator and host of Fuera de Juego on ESPN Deportes, spoke with PRODU about the increasing importance of soccer programming on the network.He says soccer dominates the channels live and studio shows.”Because we are a pan-regional network airing across the entire Americas, the presence of soccer has always been big in the channel. It has even grown, spreading to other regions. But here in Bristol, it seems like a unit that is independent of all other areas. It is evident now that soccer occupies a vital place in our programming, dominating the channels analysis and studio shows, as well as its live programming, said Palomo.
