Colombian comedian Piter Albeiro joins Univision’s humor committee

The Colombian comedian Piter Albeiro joins Univision’s humor committeePiter Albeiro (Omar Alejandro) in a conversation with PRODU commented about how at 33 years old, he has become the first Colombian comedian to form part of Univision’s humor committee. He was considered after being one of the finalists on Sabado Gigante’s La explosion de la risa. For Piter Albeiro, being part of Univision’s humor committee is a challenge in which he’ll learn and share his experiences with colleagues of other nationalities to create programs and/or humor sections that the network might need. “After obtaining the record for counting jokes during 101 consecutive hours, I was called to be interviewed on Don Francisco’s show, and that was the point when I left to be a guest on Sabado Gigante and then a member of the humor committee” Piter said. As of January, Piter Albeiro will work from Miami, but won’t stop returning to Colombia to also be part of Caracol TV’s Sabado felices, transmitted by Olimpica Stereo.
