Gabriela Frías will be presenting the special coverage about the new Arizona Immigration Law
On Thursday, July 29, a new Arizona immigration law will go into effect. Starting Sunday, July 25 through Friday, July 30, CNN en Español will climb aboard the CNN Express to dedicate a weeklong coverage to the immigration debate in the United States, and tour some of the locations from which historic events are taking place for the future of immigrants in this country.Anchor Gabriela Frías and senior correspondent and anchor Juan Carlos López, accompanied by the networks production team, will leave from El Paso, Texas headed to Phoenix, Arizona to lead this special coverage on board the CNN Express: Inmigración. On their way, they will stop in Las Cruces, New México and Nogales, Arizona to speak with immigrants, citizens, students, church and civic leaders, as well as, police and government officials, among others. Elements of this coverage will be presented throughout the networks daily programming. In addition, every night at 7pm, Directo desde EE UU will be the daily appointment to follow Frías and López in this coverage, joined by special guests, and which will also include special reports prepared by CNN en Españols production team on the field.
