The library of classic products of Venevisión, produced both in the studios in Venezuela and Miami, represents a good opportunity to offer the clients of Cisneros Media.Marcello Coltro, EVP of Content Distribution of Cisneros Media, told PRODU: “I believe there is great opportunity to transform our library into an offer for our clients in the region, but always respecting established clients, the distributors we have across the continent.”Coltro also said Cisneros plans to start adapting content such as novelas of 120 episodes to facilitate large-scale consumption on the new distribution platforms (OTT, VOD). “As Jonathan Blum, president of Cisneros Media, said at NexTV in Miami, it would be difficult to binge-watch 120 one-hour episodes. I believe that is associated with the traditional screen: broadcast and cable TV. It will all depend on the type of content and the specific audience in Latin America,” he said.
