Centroamérica TV has secured exclusive U.S. rights to air the highly anticipated soccer match between El Salvadors C.D. Fas and The New York Cosmos live on Saturday, March 14, at 5:30pm ET/2:30pm PT. The New York Cosmos, a soccer club from the North American Soccer League (NASL), will travel to El Salvador to play the C.D. Fas in the Cuscatlán Stadiumthe largest soccer stadium in Central America. The trip marks the homecoming of famed prospect and current captain of the Salvadorian National Team, Andrés Flores, who is playing for the New York Cosmos. The New York Cosmos also features former Real Madrid global icon, Raúl González Blanco, known as Raúl by soccer fans worldwide. This match between these two storied soccer clubs, which feature a number of globally recognized stars, is sure to be one of the biggest events in Central American soccer this year, and we are honored to be the only channel to deliver this historic matchup live to U.S. audiences, said Francisco Giménez, general manager of cable networks for Hemisphere Media Group, parent company of Centroamerica TV.
