FOX Deportes announced that Carlos Sánchez will join the company as EVP and general manager. In addition, Sánchez oversaw a major overhaul of the stations content and technology, which included launching new weekend and morning newscasts and upgrading its facilities into a state-of-the-art studio, set, and control room.Prior to his role with Telemundo in New York, Sánchez was VP and general manager of Telemundo stations in Las Vegas and Denver from 2005-2008. During his tenure, he oversaw the acquisition and integration of the Las Vegas station into the NBC Universal owned-and-operated stations group.
