Caracol TV’s Martín Elías starts shooting and will be part of Caracol International’s portfolio for 2019

Caracol Television began shooting Martín Elías (80×60’), a new production that will be part of Caracol International’s portfolio for 2019. This telenovela is directed by the renowned directors Andrés Biermann (Dynasty) and Rodolfo Hoyos (Against Our Destiny) and has the executive production of Manuel Peñaloza (Dynasty and Shot of Grace).
Martín Elías is the story of Martín Elías, a boy whose biggest dream is to become a famous singer of popular music, like his father, the renowned singer Diomedes Díaz. However, instead of having his father as an example and guide, Martín Elías suffered since early childhood the abandonment of Diomedes, who left his wife and children and surrendered to the excesses of his fame. To reach the top and receive recognition from his father and the public, Martín Elías will have to face alone a society that permanently compares him with his father and doesn´t give him the privilege of shining with his own light. The road to Martin Elias’s stardom will have more obstacles than any other artist, but armed with his great talent and perseverance, he will be able to silence all the critics, earning a special place among the legends of popular music of his country.

Starring Milciades Cantillo (On Another Level), Cristina García (The White Slave), María Camila Giraldo (The Queen of Flow), Rafael Santos (Football Dreams), Vivian Ossa (Dynasty)and the actress, model, and first runner-up of Miss Universe, Valerie Domínguez.
