La Narración de Chile
In November, Canal 22 Internacional premieres special programming focusing on the many contributions and influences of artists from the South American country of Chile. Airing Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 1am ET/10pm PT, beginning on November 4, La Narración de Chile introduces viewers to many of Chiles great writers, including Roberto Bolaño, Eduardo Barrios, Fernando Alegría and María Luisa Bombal, among others. The writers work and lives will be reviewed through an entertaining discussion that will both inform and enlighten audiences. On Tuesdays at 1am ET/10pm PT, the focus turns to Chilean music with the premiere of Maestros de la Música Chilena, which examines the lives of six of Chiles most important songwriters. Thursdays at 1am ET/10pm PT, Por Amor al Arte. Historias de Artistas Chilenos presents the passion-filled lives of eight of the most important Chilean artists, each considered to have played a fundamental role in the art history of Chile. With the broadcast of special programs dedicated to Latinoamérica: Chile, Canal 22 Internacional strengthens the links that unite Mexicans and Latin Americans who live in the United States to their communities of origin, their traditions and their culture.
