Carlos Perna, Boomdog partner and CEO
Boomdog is present in LA Screening with new proposals: The series El Hijo del Narco, Call me Joe, Tovanco, and their first childrens series, La Lechuza Detective, based on Spanish bestsellers with the same title. El Hijo del Narco is a series that covers the topic of drug dealing; however, this topic was set aside and it ended up being a comedy series. Another product is Tovanco, which combines humor, sitcom and sketches, starring Ricardo Polanco and Daniel Tovar; another is Call Me Joe, based on the life of a soccer player in Mexico who becomes famous in the Dallas Cowboys. These series can have between 13 and 26 episodes and will be produced in Mexico and the US, under the same concept we used for El Vato, series that is already authorized for a second season, commented Carlos Perna, Boomdog partner and CEO.He also highlighted the animated adaptation of La Lechuza Detective, based on three Spanish bestsellers, that is our first childrens product with a great educational load.
