Mónica Molina, executive producer at Boomdog of HBO Latin Americas new entertainment space, pointed out that Chumel stands out for its humor and satire that result from a well thought-out analysis and not from just anywhere. In statements to PRODU in the Boomdog studios in Mexico City, after the first program of Chumel with Chumel Torres was broadcast, she said, Chumel was outstanding, he is a very great guy, intelligent, his head is buzzing with ideas, and he is very charismatic. The program is very irreverent. We are very happy it isn´t censored, we can speak things out the way they truly are. It is irreverent, sarcastic. It isn´t simply teenage rebelliousness, it is humor that results from a well thought-out analysis and not from just anywhere.After 9 years in Boomdog, this space is her first program as executive producer. She has a daily team of 20 people, including writers, researchers, fact checkers and producers.
