BBC: The new offices allow for a higher level of collaboration

Fred Medina, EVP and managing director of BBC Worldwide Latin America/US Hispanic, took a short tour of the new company offices in Coral Gables, where he emphasized the new space represents the BBC culture: creativity, innovation, collaboration, participation and respect.“In the short time this office has been operating with the new design, we have seen a level of collaboration that has helped us develop solutions quicker, identify growth opportunities and contribute to the business of our region,” Medina told PRODU.The space houses over 50 professionals assigned to the different business areas of BBC, including channel distribution, sales of content and formats for television, digital development, and consumer product licensing.In the coming months, the Spanish-language news service BBC Mundo will move its 18-person team to another space on the same floor. According to Medina they will have studios for audio and video and similar offices to those of BBC Worldwide.
