The vast majority are still users of open and live television, but more and more people are enjoying our content through smartphones and our digital platforms,” said Emilio Aliaga, VP of TV Azteca Digital during the PRODU webinar “Content search, content discovery and personalization.”
During the webinar, Aliaga reported that audience levels on digital, compared to broadcast television, sometimes in special events reach 30%. However, digital shows usually reach between 10% and 15% of total viewers.
‟When we measure audiences, we take into account live viewing, and what is seen through digital signal platforms. Most continue to watch traditional live TV, but out of every 100, at least 15 are catching up on digital, whenever they want, because the content is always available,” he commented.
