Azteca America announced special Azteca Noticias coverage of the visit of His Holiness Pope Francis to Mexico. Papa Francisco, La Renovación de la Fe (Pope Francis: A Renewal of Faith) begins Friday, February 12 and runs through Wednesday, February 17 on Azteca America’s news programming. Azteca Noticias will bring audiences along the journey to be made by Pope Francis in his first visit to Mexico as pontiff. Special coverage will include news capsules as well as daily specials hosted by renowned journalists Javier Alatorre, Roberto Ruiz, and Jorge Zarza, who will present the activities of the Holy Father. As both a religious leader and a head of state, Pope Francis’ visit will not only be of an apostolic nature, but a diplomatic one as well.
