Azteca America to premiere Globo TV’ series El Cazador

Azteca America announces the premiere of the Globo TV’ series El Cazador (O Caçador) (13×60’), a riveting police thriller starring Brazilian actor Cauã Reymond. The series tells the story of Andrés, a police officer who serves a prison sentence for a crime he did not commit. After his release, he becomes a bounty hunter. El Cazador, filmed in Rio de Janeiro, premieres Tuesday, July 12 at 10pm/9C on Azteca America.The series takes the audience into the life of Andrés, a police officer whose family has a long history of working as police officers. When he takes the lead on an important operation, Andrés discovers that his father, a retired and respected member of the police force, is linked to a criminal network. To his surprise, his own father incriminates Andrés and he is sentenced to three years in prison.Once he is set free, Andrés finds himself without a job, without anyone to help him, and burdened by the crime he was falsely accused of committing. Putting his investigative abilities to work, Andrés becomes a bounty hunter. Searching and combating the most dangerous criminal gangs in Rio de Janeiro leads him to find clues that will prove his innocence.Renowned actor Cauã Reymond, star of great productions including Avenida Brasil and Cuento Encantado, returns to the small screen with this sensual and action-filled series joined by a terrific cast including Cléo Pires, Nanda Costa, and Aílton Graça, among other great actors.
