Martín Breidsprecher: We're changing the look of the screen
Since Monday May 14, the Azteca América’s 10pm scheduling was modified with the launch of two new shows: Fábrica de Huevos and the late night show produced and hosted by Sergio Bruna in Los Angeles, which previously aired Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10pm. Buenas Noches América will now air on Mondays at 10 pm. The show has been redesigned said Martín Breidsprecher, the networks CEO, in an interview with PRODU.Monday the 14th began at 1pm with the novela Emperatriz starring Gaby Spanic with the intention of reinforcing the earlier time slots and target the women who are already watching Lo Que Callamos las Mujeres and Ventaneando. As of Monday May 28, the 7pm time slot will present Échale Primo, which is dedicated to the grupero genre and produced in Leon, Mexico. It will be followed by Trayectoria al Éxito, another Azteca program. Tuesdays and Thursdays will be for Tuneame la Nave, produced by Canal 13, and for Fridays Ay Caramba, which is also being redesigned. The 8pm timeslot will remain the same. The changes go hand-in-hand with a new campaign both on the air and online being headed by Luis Carrasquero, a former employee of TeleFutura and Estrella TV. The idea is to change the look of the screen with new promos that are more community-oriented. The network also announced the launch of its HD feed as of June 1 in Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas and San Francisco.
