AZ TV de Pagas strategy consists in offering not only its linear channels but also original and exclusive content for operators OTT platforms. As AZ TV de Paga we are not interested in having our own OTT. We are content producers and we support operators in their own platforms, said Fidela Navarro, director of AZ TV de Paga.In this framework, the executive expressed that the contents that are part of linear channels can also be available on platforms under demand of operators. It is an important added value, specially taking into account that these are not contents we are selling in the international market of episodic series, but are thought for closed TV operators instead, stated Navarro.So, for example, cable operators who have AZ Cinema on their grids can count on a package of Mexican films for their on-demand services, and those who have AZ Corazón, may offer episodes of telenovelas and programs that have already been broadcast, which grants an added value to the novela that is being broadcast on the linear channel. Currently, the company produces around 1.200 hours of original content a year for its four channels. We began few months ago and expect to have a complete 360 degree inventory, said Navarro.
