The Colombian producer Aurelio Valcárcel, who since mid-February serves as Fiction Production Director for Mexico´s Cadenatres, began shooting his first telenovela two days ago, Vuelve temprano, made by Argos and based on an original script from TVN Chile, commercialized by Telemundo. The story is about a family who seemed to be perfect: the mother works as a successful news anchor, and the father, as a renown lawyer, but everything changes when he finds his eldest son dead after an alleged car accident. Mario Cimarro (Pasión de gavilanes) is part of the cast. Valcárcel was a Executive Production VP at Telemundo Studios for nearly 12 years, until the beginning of 2014. In December last year, Cadenatres contacted him, and he was fascinated with the channel where he found new projects with a group of executive producers, thus fulfilling his dream of making telenovelas and series in Mexico. The executive also expressed that he was delighted with the country and very lucky to be part of the network led by Ernesto Rivera, as he mentioned in an interview with PRODU, two weeks after joining Cadenatres.
