Andrea González joins Univision Los Angeles KMEX 34 as co-anchor of the evening and nightly newscast

Univision Communications Inc. (UCI) announced the appointment of Andrea González as co-anchor of Univision Los Angeles KMEX 34’s evening and nightly newscast, which air Monday through Friday at 6pm and 11pm. González will co-anchor the newscasts with León Krauze and work on special assignments. “We are excited to have Andrea join our Los Angeles team. She not only brings with her an impressive and extensive journalistic background, she also brings a genuine enthusiasm and commitment to her community and the people she serves,” said Marco Flores, vice president of News, Los Angeles Prior to joining Univision 34, González was based in Mexico and served as the Mexico City correspondent for the Univision Network since 2014. She was also host of the morning news TV Azteca Noreste, in Monterrey, Mexico where she hosted the segment called Mujeres de Éxito (Women of Success), for which she obtained two journalism awards.
