Alton River to produce a documentary

The production company Alton River will start shooting in January next year, a documentary that tells the story of merengue. It will be sponsored by the Cinema Law of the Dominican Republic. Distribution is under the responsibility of Azteca Internacional.
“The documentary is titled Merengue, la Música que Puso a Bailar al Mundo. Dominican merengue was declared intangible heritage of mankind” comments Carlos Cerutti, director general of Alton River.
