Alterna’TV renews distribution agreement with Canal 22 Internacional

AlternaTV announced the extension of its contract relationship with Canal 22 Internacional. In a multi-year agreement, AlternaTV will act as the exclusive representative for distribution of Canal 22 Internacional around the world.We are very pleased that Canal 22 Internacional has extended AlternaTVs exclusive representation of its international arts and entertainment channel, validating both our past performance in securing carriage partners throughout the U.S. as well as our ability to continue to grow its distribution internationally. From its celebration of Mexican cinema and award winning documentaries to its cultural newscasts and talk shows, the channel is timely, engaging and relevant even to those whose roots are not in Mexico, says Aymeric Genty, Chief Executive Officer of AlternaTV. Canal 22 Internacional is an arts and entertainment channel that brings the best of Mexico home to U.S. audiences. Among its new and original production, Canal 22 Internacional presents a new season of La Música Con Manzanero. The signal is available through DIRECTV (channel 446), Time Warner Cable, AT&T U-verse (channel 3022), Verizon Fios (channel 1646) Grande Communications, Wave Broadband and San Bruno Municipal Cable TV (channel 646), among others.
