After more than 20 years with Sony Pictures Television, Alex Marín will be stepping down from his role as EVP of Networks and Distribution for Latin America, Canada and US Hispanic in early August, announced in a memo to the company’ staff Keith Le Goy, president, Distribution & Networks at Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Marín has decided to take some time to evaluate his next professional chapter.
“Marín has been a prominent member of the SPT distribution, sales, and network groups, consistently growing our various businesses and bringing a wealth of experience and passion to our organization. Over the course of his tenure, Alex has held various roles in Mexico City, London, and Miami with great tenacity and devotion to the company and his teams. His spirited attitude and commitment to Sony Pictures will leave an indelible mark on our group for many years to come and I want to offer my sincerest thanks for his leadership and dedication,” added Le Goy.
“I am incredibly grateful to Keith Le Goy and the leadership team for the opportunity I was given to have helped grow the media network, home entertainment, and distribution businesses at Sony,” said Marín.
