Internationally acclaimed news channel, Al Jazeera English, continues its carriage expansion across the Caribbean. Beginning August, the channel will broadcast in Dominicas Digicel Channel 45. This will be followed by launches in Digicels other islands with Pay TV operations. The channel will also premiere in the island-nation of Barbados through MCTVs Channel 210. Al Jazeera English will be available to additional homes in Trinidad through Greendot on Channel 23 and the Dominican Republic via Tricom on Channel 116. In Jamaica, Al Jazeera English is available via Logic One Limited on channel 235. On each cable operator, the channel will be available in the basic tier package, making it available to all subscribers.This announcement comes in the aftermath of Al Jazeera Englishs robust growth in the region as the channel brought its award-winning coverage to numerous Caribbean countries early this spring.”We are grateful to our new distribution partnerships in the Caribbean.
