Baccetti Fuks Agulla
The successful duo Agulla & Baccetti (Ramiro Agulla and Carlos Baccetti), which in the 1990s left their stamp in Argentina’s -and even the region- advertising, meets again after almost 20 years. This time is not to launch another agency, but to enter the world of NFTs, cryptocurrencies and the metaverse through the company The Black Minds, which they co-founded with Patricio Fuks and Ignacio Figueras.
Their first project is the launch of a collection of more than 10,000 unique “lamas” (characters made famous in a Telecom advertisement with the saga La Lama que llama) that will be sold through the Ethereum blockchain. Those who acquire the NFTs from the “llamas” will benefit by having access to events and raffles. The base price will be US$300.
These are the same lamas’ characters, but adapted to the new times and which they describe as “solid, funny and sarcastic” works of art.
“We were convinced that we were never going to open a traditional advertising agency again. Advertising gave us a lot and we gave it a lot, but we feel that past success does not guarantee future success. In this desire to escape forward, Pato summoned us and we discovered that the NFT is very close to what we like: art, music and humor” explained Baccetti.
