Adrián Santucho from Univision Studios assumes command of the Special Events area

Adrián Santucho, Executive VP at Univision Studios will be in charge of Univision´s Special Events area, after Francisco “Cisco” Suárez steps down from the position of Senior VP for Special Events. Santucho will work on musical events with Jorge “Pepo” Ferradas, President of Music at Univision Communications Inc.

José Tillán, ex Viacom, for his part, was designated Executive Producer of Lo Nuestro Awards, reporting to Santucho and Ferradas.

Suárez, who has produced some of the most prestigious Hispanic TV specials, has developed shows that are, to this day, the ones that render the network the highest ratings. In February 2015, he began leading jointly the direction of Special Events and Univision Studios (he was in this last division until the restructuring conducted by Univision Communications, Inc this year). Since then, live events such as tent poles and reality shows, acquired increasing prominence and granted Univision a competitive advantage.
