This year´slogan is Héroes con Corazón
The Univision Network announced it will air its 2nd Annual TeletónUSA, a 28-hour telethon featuring more than 100 Hispanic superstars and television personalities uniting the community in support of children with disabilities, cancer and autism in the United States. Under the slogan Héroes con Corazón, this year’s event follows the spectacularly successful initial effort that reached nearly 14 million viewers and raised nearly double the first telethon’s goal for a total of US$15,215,028 million dollars. Through inspiring stories, personal testimonies, and memorable performances from top Latino talent, TeletónUSA will work to surpass last year’s total, if by only a dollar, and change lives. It will be broadcast on the Univision Network from December 13 at 10pm ET/7pm PT to December 15 at 2am ET/11pm PT. The full event will also be streamed LIVE at {univision.com/teletonusa}. Once again, the telethon will be hosted by the legendary host of Univision’s top-rated variety show Sábado Gigante and founder of Teletón Chile and president of ORITEL (International Telethons Organization), Mario Kreutzberger better known as Don Francisco,a long with internationally renowned actress and singer Lucero, Univision News anchor Jorge Ramos, Hoy co-host Galilea Montijo, and “Despierta América” co-host Raúl González. In addition, TeletónUSA will feature an impressive participation of Univision talent and beloved Latin show business personalities who will appear via satellite from Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Puerto Rico and San Antonio.
