200% Media: Our agreement with Univision’s Alejandra Espinoza for scripted and unscripted projects has women as the focal point

200% Media of Mari Urdaneta signed an agreement with actress and hostess Alejandra Espinoza of Univisión to develop scripted and unscripted projects focused on women and that could be for the screens of TelevisaUnivision or third parties. The deal was closed together with Ignacio “Nacho” Meyer, president of the channels in the US, and Omar Fajer, VP of Entertainment and Music Marketing.

“Alejandra will be creating projects as an independent producer, first for her house -Univision- and then for third parties, and the beauty is that we have Nacho and Omar. Right now we are in the presentation stage deciding which of the projects that they want to develop are going to Univision, UNIMÁS, or ViX or to all three, and if not we will take them to other screens,” explained Urdaneta.

She commented that they have already presented 10 original ideas to start exploring which ones will go to the next stage. “At this moment we are with Alejandra signing the rights of very famous presenters who have made history in the US and Latin America with the intention of telling the story of their lives in bioseries, it would be a franchise about presenters and then moving on to another one about actresses and also one about women singers. There are three miniseries -from 6 to 10 one-hour chapters- depending on the story.”
