Vicky Campolongo, European business development manager at BB Media, let PRODU know that on the basis of research and chats to which she has been privy, in the next few months a vast number of FAST Channels will be launched worldwide with exclusive content aimed at those channels’ target audiences. “We’re seeing in OTT that people are choosing free AVOD options, though you don’t see a great decline in the SVOD,” she added.BB Media is currently working to add a greater quantity of information about the FAST Channels in order to keep its clients informed about the content being aired on each and every channel, about what time they will all air, how long each will be screened, how often the offer will be repeated, and on which day and to which target each offer is aimed. This will also be useful so that brands know at exactly what moment they should advertise, so in that way they can focus on a specific time with a specific content and target the specific segment to which they most want to appear. FAST Channels are in a phase of revision of data and there’s still no information on insights. “What we’re doing now is to analyze channels in different parts of the world, compare them and see what each one offers in order to understand how they differ one from another,” she said.
