Joe Schramm, managing partner of Schramm Marketing Group and organizer of the Hispanic TV Summit, spoke with PRODU on current trends of Hispanic television industry and advertising of the USA. To Schramm, one of the clear trends in the advertising industry right now is the battle over media buying. “It’s a hot topic that could not be dismissed right now.” Another important trend that the executive stressed is the importance of the demographic sector of Hispanic millennials for brands. “One in five millennials today are Hispanic and 65% of Hispanics are millennials, and that demographically is very interesting,” he said. “When we launched the summit, the Hispanic audience was no longer being ignored, but some were dedicated to this demographic segment. These years, many channels have been added and the growth of the television industry has been great, not only in production but also in advertising spending in the fight for the audience” he concluded.
