Jorge Colon en PRODU Primetime
Letca Films and its Director, Founder and President Jorge Colon have managed to set up a platform offering remote production services based on the laws of each state in the U.S. for as long as the coronavirus pandemic exists, a topic amply discussed when Colon was invited on #PRODUprimetime with Richard Izarra. “Brands and networks are trying to be creative so people don’t have to go out of their homes. You know that in a crisis, creativity is queen, and in our case it had us looking for ways to do remote production,” said Colon, who has worked for 30 years in the field and 24 in the U.S. He gave as an example of creativity an advertising casting where the talents self-directed themselves and Letca provided the technology. “It was very nice and worked out well,” he added. Colon noted that, along with continuing to serve advertising clients, Letca keeps developing content. “We have several projects underway with TV series and a couple of feature films. I feel that this is our chance to write, push, think about what we didn’t have time to do before and at the same time support the industry,” said Colon, who is very concerned about supporting the industry and works hard to do so. He is particularly active in helping crew members, “the people who work day after day in the advertising and content industry.” He made a call for the industry to come together and support these workers once the crisis is done with.
