Internet Media Services (IMS) starts the seventh edition of the IMS Executive Program at Singularity University’s Ames Nasa Research Center, an institution for innovation and learning that in 2018 is attended by some 90 marketing professionals, clients and partners from around the world. Ignacio Vidaguren, COO and partner of IMS, said the event has sparked great expectations because the idea of holding the latest edition at Singularity University has a lot to do with its futuristic approach. “Singularity has its sights set on what’s coming and that fits in perfectly with our industry, where digital media and their use are constantly growing. The program will undoubtedly prepare us for all the upcoming changes,” the executive said. He also noted that one of the main assets of the event is its multiculturalism, with professionals arriving from countries around the globe including Rumania, India, Russia and Spain. “This adds a great deal to the experience because it creates an extraordinary atmosphere for sharing ideas, learning the latest, and of course, having a good time,” Vidaguren said. On the other hand, he pointed to the burgeoning growth of IMS over the past year and the degree to which it has consolidated its leadership in Latin America as a partner of the main Silicon Valley companies looking to sell their digital products in the region. “Last year we had significant growth because, among other reasons, we bought the majority share of Httpool, which operates in Central and Eastern Europe and Asia. We now have operations in 32 countries with a total of more than 600 professionals,” Vidaguren said.
