NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises just celebrated the first anniversary of their social responsibility initiative El poder en ti, aimed at empowering Hispanics in critical areas of personal growth including education, health, finance and civic engagement. The initiative was developed by the advertising agency, República, based in Miami. ““We are extremely proud of what El poder en ti has done for our community in its first year and are doubling down in our efforts to help Hispanics live a better life by unleashing the power within them” said César Conde, President of the company. He explained that as a world-class media company, Telemundo has the privilege of reaching millions of Hispanics through their multi-platform portfolio. Led by the international icon, Don Francisco and some of Telemundo’s most recognized on-air talent, El poder en ti launched a series of public service announcements that reached tens of millions of Hispanics with inspiring stories aimed at empowering, life-changing and inspirational stories. This initiative has offered key resources and information to more than 8 million Hispanics through nationwide events.
