Brands, the parent company of KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell, announced the release of Pass The Red Cup Challenge, along with international superstar Christina Aguilera in their efforts in the fight against world hunger.Pass The Red Cup is designed to promote awareness of this global problem and inspire donations. Aguilera is challenging the media, celebrities, influencers and their fans to share #PassTheRedCup to raise awareness about world hunger.In addition, the singer is urging people to donate $5 to the web campaign Hungerto Hope to help the World Food Program of the United Nations.The global initiative of Yum! is the largest in the private sector to help alleviate hunger: it covers more than 125 countries, 40,000 KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell restaurants, and 1.5 million members.Aguilera has served as spokesperson for the program since 2009, helping to raise millions of dollars for this fight. “Together we can create a movement and make children full of hunger in children full of hope,” the singer said.”With nearly 850 million of hungry people in the world, we all need help to find a solution to this critical issue,” David Novak, CEO of Yum!
