Y&R will be the lead creative agency for the U.S. census

El contrato de comunicaciones integradas está previsto para la jornada de 2020

After a review that took almost a year, the U.S. Census Bureau chose Young & Rubicam (Y&R) lead creative agency, to promote the upcoming population count for 2020. The contract is worth $415 million. “The U.S Census Bureau awarded an Integrated Communications Contract for the 2020 Census to Young & Rubicam (Y&R). To respect the integrity of the award, debrief and protest stages of the federal procurement process and the laws that govern it, we will not comment on the award until the protest period has ended” said an official statement from the Bureau.This is not Y&R’s first government contract. Last month, the agency opened an office in Memphis to attend the US Navy account. FCB, DDB, McCann y Droga5 were among the agencies that took part in the review. The 2020 project will be large. The last time, promotional materials were created in 14 languages and the bureau has the intention to harness emerging technologies and channels as an integral part of their communications program for the 2020 Census.
