Last year YouTube presented Google preferred, a new service for advertisers designed to help make advertising purchases.This year YouTube is taking an additional step to launch a new purchase option that will form part of the tool: Brands can now make campaigns specifically aimed at the Hispanic audience in YouTube.The new product, YouTube Hispanic, was recently revealed in the Hispanic Marketing Forum in New York. As with Google Preferred, advertisers will be able to make purchases with an initial base audience guarantee.YouTube’s initiative was to launch a tool that allows advertisers to reach that audience directly although Google has made clear that it is not simply a channel collection in YouTube with content aimed at Hispanics.Tara Levy from YouTube admitted that although the Hispanic digital budgets are growing rapidly, there is still a big gap to fill.
