YouTube fights with rivals and makes their stars exclusive offers

Facebook, el eterno rival, ha tratado de atraer a estos artistas de YouTube a sus servicios en los últimos meses

The social network YouTube, acquired by Google in 2006, is competing with rivals with online video services.Its rival, Facebook, has tried to attract these artists from YouTube to their services in recent months. In response, Google is talking to videographers to sign contracts in which it agreed to publish exclusive content on YouTube for a while before putting it at the mercy of its rival. It also makes a wide range of offerings, such as financing programs user stars according to the traffic they have. All this in order not to lose them.It is presumed that these rival networks are aggressively courting. Now Youtube aside of dealing with Facebook, has to face Vessel, a network created by Jason Kilar, a former CEO of Hulu. Vessel has offered YouTube celebrities exclusive money for 72 hours, since he has an idea of establishing the subscription service as a premium alternative.With more than one million monthly visitors, YouTube has long dominated the streaming video platform. Even those who are rivals do not expect that YouTube is completely eliminated.Popular video artists like Michelle Phan, are important strategically to YouTube because their channels attract viewers back regularly. Keeping these stars in place is important. Meanwhile, Phan said that YouTube is well defined and the site is not at risk of losing users.
