Havas Group reported an organic growth of 7.1% during the first quarter of 2015, as well as a 20.5% increase in their incomes, which translates into 525 million dollars.Per region, North America stands out with incomes of up to 10.2% (199 million dollars), Asia-Pacific and Africa, where the incomes have increased 10.1% (40 million dollars).Havas Life, Havas Wordwide Chicago, Arnold and Havas Media have been the main contributors to the growth experienced in North America.Yannick Bolloré, president and CEO at Havas, explained that the “return has been particularly strong in the US and Asia-Pacific”. He highlighted that although all their business is developed in a positive manner, Arnold has reflected the biggest change. The organic growth rate in Europe has been 4.4% with incomes of around 520 million dollars. As for the United Kingdom, the country has recorded a growth of 6.7% versus 6.2% reported in other countries of the old continent. He highlighted that France, the market of origin of the group, has barely registered a 1% growth. Bolloré’s forecasts reveal that Havas could exceed the expected 3,5% growth for this 2015, although he admits that “we are at the start of the year and we don’t know how our competitors are performing so we do not want to make excessive promises. We continue to be cautiously optimistic”.
