Ximena Aguirre, productora sénior de ALMA
The digital innovation school Hyper Island took place in Miami, organized by Fundación Cisneros and presented its business problem for some students to try and solve it using work methodologies they know and with the aid of professors from the institute, who guided some queries so the project could be carried out.Ximena Aguirre, senior productor at ALMA, was one of the participants of the Master Class and she told PRODU about her experience in this type of groundbreaking educational activities. “It leads us to see that technology has not been around only for a couple of years, that it dates back a long time and is just constantly evolving. It leads you to think about what the future might hold. It is all presented with an approach on what you were like ten years ago, what you are like now and what you will be like ten years from now. That is when you start to see evolution and the changes we have experienced”, she said.In the Hyper Island classes, challenges are replicated through what they call learning experiences in which teams must learn to solve clients´ business problems and that is why they use real cases and brands.”It leads you to understand that all human beings adapt to what happens in our lives. Children are currently born into social media, but when we were born we still just had toys. Then you must stop being afraid of technology, because it is not going to stop, it will continue to evolve and lead us to everything”, pointed out Aguirre.
