WPP reported revenues of $8.6 billion for the first half of the year, which accounts for a revenue growth of 4.3% compared with the first half of 2015. The group reported total billings up 6.3% in constant currency, according to a statement. The regions that recorded highest growth are: Latin America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa and Middle East. The group’s areas that grew more are branding and brand identity, health care and specialized communications (including direct, digital and interactive) while data and investment management did not record a positive performance. The report about the media and advertising agencies global holding led by Sir Martin Sorrell, also recognizes the group’s creativity and effectiveness performance after being awarded the most creative holding at 2016 Cannes Lions for the sixth consecutive year, including the acknowledgement to Ogilvy & Mather as the most creative agency network of the year for the fifth time in a row.
